Lets play with the idea of 1 bitcoin = 1 oz gold. If that was true one could pretty easy calculate real value of alt coins by factoring in bitcoins as the value factor in the same way as dollars where for all other currencies we have today.

So is this possible ?. Maybe, but probably not.

But i love the consept of alt coins and will continue to mine simply because the idea appeals to me, however it is important to know just what alt coins is at this present day in time. Just a big currency ponzi game.

I have always been open to ideas and that`s also way i am in this very market. My suggestion was simply to put some value or find a way to put some stability behind the crypto world.

You might want to look what has happend in bit and lite coin as of lately. Exactly the sort of stuff i hate to see, but is bound to happen when you have wild speculation in any asset.

To make a currency attractive and widespread you want people using it, not collecting it and sitting around and waiting to get rich.

Infinity isn’t a number. It’s the superset of all possible numbers.

Think of it like this: Let’s say you had a hotel with an infinite number of rooms. You would always have room for another guest, and you could always find a room for them because you could go to the person in room number 1, and ask them to move to room number 2, and have the person in room 2 move to room 3, and 3 to 4, and so on and so fourth. No matter how many guests you got, there would always be a room number higher to have them move into.

That hotel that contains ALL the possible room numbers? That’s Infinity.

So when the difficulty decrease from infinity, and therefore stays at infinity, how long until someone develops an ASIC chip for this coin?
