\[BOUNTY 15BTC\] Mining FTC blocks 1BTC@32880,32900,32920,32940,32960 10BTC@33,000
-
I also just noticed this disappeared. Not sure to be honest maybe ask on thier forum?
-
Whoop! Can’t wait for my share/s, nice one marduke 8)
By my maths for block 33,000:
27,271 / 5 = 0.00018334494 BTC per shareEdit: My maths was wrong :)
-
Block 33,000 was orphaned on wemineltc.com :(
That was a cruel block for an orphan to happen on. Now I need to find the miner, if I cannot then we can still send the bounty to the block generation address. I’ve had to do that already for one of the bounties. Some miners are not paying attention and were probably a bit surprised by a random 800FTC coming in :)
If you find the miner let me know. The client allows someone to verify that they own an address, in this case the address generated when the block was mined.
-
Just saw on wemineftc.com that I got 32998, so close.
Pity about the orphan :'(
Shit happens, great fun all round, I wonder who nabbed it. -
gz on whoever found it!

How can you tell which one is valid?
The block from wemineftc.com has an address of 1MXX4zZuFvWXwJc3ZmFyhT1AjRYaN9wAbd.
The other block has an address of 6pFeathercoinSucksCBTuauhTGi8cdDCV
It seems a bit suspicious that this would be the winning address.
The wemineftc.com block has an earlier timestamp.

Looks like was solo mined someone got the full 200 Ftc :o by look of it on the block explorer?
-
Lol didnt notice the address! Maybe they will change their mind when they get a billy bonus :D

Why would the words feathercoinsucks be in the physical ftc address? Seams a little fishy to me.There are two results in the blockchain when searching for block 33000:
Smacks of a 51% attack no? I mean what are the odds? Orphans are so rare on wemineftc.
-
wemineftc.com gets the prize.
It looks like someone with a fair bit of hash power came on to orphan block 33,000 and to squeeze on their block instead. What a neat trick :)
You can get customized addresses.
If you look at the transaction history for that address, you will see that this is the only transaction for that address:
http://explorer.feathercoin.com/address/6pFeathercoinSucksCBTuauhTGi8cdDCV
So somebody happened to solo mine block 33000 using an address that doesn’t have any other transactions on it, and an address with a suspicious string in it, and there was a competing hash submitted for that block that ended up being orphaned… That seems extremely fishy to me.
I hope somebody will do a little more digging before the award is handed out.
You can mine your own address, check out http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=489.0 - Although I bet that address took some mining power to produce, jeese ::) ::) ::) not surprised they found the block :D

i would personaly be pissed if i look into the description of that Bounty and decided to mine Ftc, to have a Chance of 5BTC
and than recognice, that the pool made a decision to share that Bounty. In my opinion they don´t have the right to do that, it´s only up to Marduke.
As i like the community i would share it, so don´t get me wrong. But i guess in this case it´s the wrong to make things over someones head.
Cause this Bounty was created to attract singel miners, to come back to Ftc. What would you think if you read the description of a game, winning Car, and than you realize, you only get a couple of wheels, because the car manufactor decide this over the game oparator ?Anyway Greets to Marduk. ;D
Edit: as the Block gets Orphand, it still matters. If you you spoke out a personal Bounty, you should stay with it or clearify this in the description.

the chain has forked and newest get it, the weirdest part is the confirmation was done by an address that seems to have done some weird strike(possibly a lot more then 51%) in the past as it got a couple of straight 32901-32918 32960-32966. seems to be weird in my view
Definitely seems suspicious, but I would advise we you wait before handing out the bounty. There is a chance, however small, that this may be just a bizarre coincidence.
Miners join pools because they know they have a better chance of profiting, the pools make the rules & the fees, if miners don’t like them, they leave, had he solo mined he more than likely would not of found it, in fact had he solo mined, I might of found it :D
