wemineftc.com gets the prize. It looks like someone with a fair bit of hash power came on to orphan block 33,000 and to squeeze on their block instead. What a neat trick :)
Thank you. I’m wondering how that could happen though.

i would personaly be pissed if i look into the description of that Bounty and decided to mine Ftc, to have a Chance of 5BTC
and than recognice, that the pool made a decision to share that Bounty. In my opinion they don´t have the right to do that, it´s only up to Marduke.
As i like the community i would share it, so don´t get me wrong. But i guess in this case it´s the wrong to make things over someones head.
Cause this Bounty was created to attract singel miners, to come back to Ftc. What would you think if you read the description of a game, winning Car, and than you realize, you only get a couple of wheels, because the car manufactor decide this over the game oparator ?Anyway Greets to Marduk. ;D
Edit: as the Block gets Orphand, it still matters. If you you spoke out a personal Bounty, you should stay with it or clearify this in the description.

the chain has forked and newest get it, the weirdest part is the confirmation was done by an address that seems to have done some weird strike(possibly a lot more then 51%) in the past as it got a couple of straight 32901-32918 32960-32966. seems to be weird in my view
Definitely seems suspicious, but I would advise we you wait before handing out the bounty. There is a chance, however small, that this may be just a bizarre coincidence.
Miners join pools because they know they have a better chance of profiting, the pools make the rules & the fees, if miners don’t like them, they leave, had he solo mined he more than likely would not of found it, in fact had he solo mined, I might of found it :D
Someone would need to come on with 51% of total hashing power to invalidate other block and force transactions in that block to start again. This would explain why the difficulty did not go down as much as expected. They must have used a phenomenal amount of hash power. No doubt an old GPU Bitcoin miner who does not take kindly to alts :)

From same address as the 33001 block, making the 33000 first block orphan
http://explorer.feathercoin.com/t/3j18QghX3Bis also pretty weird, not sure if it’s just the display or we have a bigger problem!!
i will analyse this transaction block tonight, now at work, need to back working -
Ofcause i understand that, i mining on a pool, too. And for that reason you descript. But the bounty is not called out for the pool, but for a single Person. Thats all i say. and if that Person, wants that bounty alone, in my opinion it´s his right, otherwise you don´t Need rules.
So again pls don´t get me wrong. -

Could they have just hacked the blockchain explorer?
I hope you dont reward those smart*****…
Yeah bush, like I said before that address alone would need some power to hash - it’s 16 digits :o, nearly half a full address, makes you wonder how long before the 33/34 key length will be too weak! :o
-
Frankly, if I had that much hashpower to waste and was an FTC hater, I could have come with much better than FTCsucks.
Almost tempted to announce on the trollbox that FTC blockchain has been comprised. Could do with a price crash to stock up on a few more FTCs.
Hash power to generate longer addresses get exponentially harder. I think out sun would burn out before they generated a whole address on current hardware :)
Bitcoin based addresses are safe for a while yet.

Also keep in mind it’s exponential in difficulty. Good luck :) -
I know what you are saying. A couple of pools announced this kind option a head of time. I guess they wanted to attract people with a greater chance of getting a piece of the winning pot. If people were not happy they have the option to jump pools :)
