Got the image thing sorted out, thanks for all the help everyone! So here it is

Downloaded the file to a folder on my drive:

I double clicked on the file:

      Clicked yes:

      Clicked yes again:

      Clicked OK:

I selected English, then clicked Next:

      Clicked Next:

I like the place it wants to install it so clicked Next:

I didn’t want a program group, did want a shortcut, so did this and clicked Next:

Summarized my choices, all looked right, so clicked Install:

It installed everything smoothly in about 30 sec so I clicked Finish:

This is the new client (wallet) running, doing it’s “block chain” thing!
waiting. . . waiting. . .being patient and happy! :) Remembering that I am a part of the solution now. . .

. . .done! easy as that! Still no coins, but have wallet . . .have to start somewhere!
So why not go list something you can part with for sale in the market for FTC?

      Peace
      ~//~
PS Have now received coins (bought 10FTC on eBay with PayPal for 5USD to learn. . .tuition) I then began to encourage my friends and family to sign up on the forum, download the client, and create a wallet with the promise to send them each 2FTC of which they would be required to send me 1FTC back) One brother followed through so far (the others I will annoy till they do hehe), and I remembered a piece of this puzzle I forgot to include here.
When my brother sent the coin back his wallet didn’t require any “passphrase”. He had not yet encrypted his wallet. So don’t forget to encrypt and backup your wallet, both very simple tasks. To encrypt, simple open the client (your wallet) and click on settings, then encrypt wallet. like this:

I will be making a separate post on backing up your wallet so look for it soon ! Hope this is helpful
      ~//~

Note: When I sent the 2FTC I was not charged a fee, when he sent his 1 he was charged .02FTC fee. No idea on this? So anyone who can elaborate on that please do.

You could send them to http://www.imm.io e
And then, using the image link, posting it here.

        That’s how I proceed normally.

Shouldn’t the http://prntscr.com/2ca87l work the same way?
          thanks,

Yep, I do like imm.io, clean and simple.
You could take the direct link to the picture .jpg and add the link using the first icon above the smiley… It add the img and /img you put the link in it and we would see the pictures without having to click on it…

okay tried both. The links which you now see were originally placed inbetween the img][/img
brackets, but just showed a blank space. Then I tried linking them between the img][/url. so is the Insert Image button not working or am I not working right?
thanks for taking the time to help

                hello,

why when i try to open the new wallet it ask me to change my .conf file

                to use server option
you must set rpcpassword( it give a a dam long password to enter) and rpcuser (feathercoinrpc) in the configuration.

just wanted to know the reason

                thanks

Sounds like you have an existing configuration file that specifies server=1 without specifying a rpcuser and password.

Try removing your %appdata/Feathercoin/feathercoin.conf, or adding a rpcuser/password to it.

Yes, there’s no problem with just removing your feathercoin.conf file. The client will start normally without it.

Do NOT remove your wallet.dat file. You will lose your coins that way. They’re in the same directory too, so don’t just delete the directory.
