Hi everyone!!

Hi everyone! First post :)
I’ve got a late 2012 Macbook Pro wit 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 with Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB and 4 GB RAM.
Using a great app called Asteroid (gui for cgminer 3.7.2) I can get around 10 KH/s.I would just like to have a little of something to play with.
Also, I’m not planning on ruining my hardwareSo, where should I mine?
P2Pool was real easy to set up, but I haven’t gotten an accepted share yet in their Feathercoin pool.
(actually, that’s not true, one time I got 256 accepted shares at once, but I expect that’s a bug?)Thanks already for helping this noob :p

Mining with your laptop will be a risk ruining your hardware non the less, please be careful!

Welcome!
To answer your pools question. There’s tons! Rumor has it, some pools do better than others statistically.
FTC.HASHFASTER.COM wasn’t bad for me.
Coinex.pw is mining and exchange.
And i’m totally blanking now on my favorite pool. I had to buy all new equipment, and it arrives soon! PM me if you are having any problems

^^^ Ive read that laptop mining truely can be dangerous as they are not designed for such 24/7 hard work. could overheat etc
as far as mining… try www.coinotron.com (thats what I have been using …)
Goodluck my friend…
just one newbie trying to help another ;) -
Hi and welcome to Feathercoin…
You need to find the closest node to get the best pool. I use p2pool if possible because there is no registration involved.
In future, mining questions should be posted in “Mining”,
“Support” questions, for the wallet and Feathercoind.
