Bitcoin, Litecoin, .... Underground Exploitz
-
Could there be one possibility there exists an exploit on the chain or similar ?? Injecting blocks etc … Intercepting mined blocks from pools and routing it to other wallets ???
I’m asking this because because of an online ad, and diving deeper into that, I found many underground software claiming todo this … Mostly with ability to download after survey like the undergroundz like it …
Many confirm this shit as working ok on youtube and others ?I feel stupid because of my understanding, the blockchain has to be complete etc etc, but I never say never in this world (and because of my tiny brains) and would like some opinions …
I want to make clear that I’m not searching for a working exploit or so because I don’t want to earn coins this way.

^ says it all, you won’t be needed anymore after you made them some money off surveys ::)
Let alone the “exploit”. -
Let’s ignore the math for one moment, which is what prevents such attacks from being possible.
Let’s assume that such exploits are not only possible, but they actually exist.
What would the price for such a thing be?
I can imagine it having 2 prices: A billion dollars, and 0 dollars.
Why a billion dollars? Well you’ve effectively got one better than a money making machine (which is what mining rigs are): A money stealing machine that steals money from all the money making machines. If that were true, a billion dollars would be cheap.
Why 0 dollars? Well let’s assume this exploit worked, and your coins could be stolen/intercepted/hacked. What would a Bitcoin be worth if it could be stolen? About 0 dollars I imagine.
So, do you REALLY think someone’s going to give you this for the cost of filling out an online survey? Really? Because if you do, I’ve got some ebooks for sale that you’re going to LOVE and at a really affordable price too!

Having done some work, charting the effects of the attacks on Feathercoin, I would say no.
It wasn’t possible with Feathercoin, as we gained just enough miners to prevent one person or group gaining 51% of the network.
Since then, by using ACP, coins can prevent attack by making it slower to change difficulty. This means in order to attack a large amount of mining power must overpower the network, for longer. It does mean the loyal miners loose after the attack, as they mine for longer at higher difficulty. Much less than they lost whilst still mining at high difficulty, means you are paid less coins.
However, in effect, it prevented attacks, because it wasn’t possible to sustain sufficient hash. The other point is that, during previous “attacks” “they” ended up earning coins. It would be stupid then to “disrupt they own money”.
I can tell you also, multiple persons on the forum tracked every transaction and the variation of hash rate.
This is the whole point of the system is that it is open. Everything that occurs on the blockchain is copied and distributed many times over.

[/quote]Yes, somethimes my mind gets really deep frozen and thoughts slumber around… Things looked to real, but yeah those game patches/cracks are also distributed this way but i never tried it …
I was thinking maybe some people trying to destroy cryptoCurrency…
