Status update:
The CoinAccount code for doing multi currency wallets is at 80%. I’ve not run a single line of it yet, but I know it’ll all work as designed (yeah right!).
I plan on finishing it today, and moving on to Streaming API, and refacotring the code for Doge and Cat coin support.
I’ll probably post with another status update later today.

Again, I do understand your response and I fully understand from where it has risen. I disagree 100% with your sentiment however and I hope I’m never stranded somewhere with you while you hoard all of the food so others don’t get it first (and you’d be willing to overpay A LOT to hoard all that food – so economically speaking I couldn’t get along w/u either). lulz

If you want to destroy your FTC to possibly increase the price of FTC in the future … go for it! No one’s stopping you. I’d rather destroy my “worthless Dogecoin” to submit to Link and keep my precious FTC as an investment. But that’s just me.

[/quote]I don’t think it would be appropriate for us to try and get disproportionate publicity over this. I have mentioned this project to two journalists including Danny at Coindesk. I would rather take this slow. The problem is if you jump up and down over a story like this with a catchy headline people end up buying on a rumour and hype and then get disapointed when the market wakes up and realises that it isn’t exclusive to feathercoin and the whale on BTCe milks it and accumulates more coins.
If you insist on getting rich, do it slowly in a way that is sustainable.

They’ve done a lot in a very short period of time for the crypto-community. Crap-coin or not, you cannot deny the fact that about 50% more neckbeards are now aware of what crypto-currency is and will consider it normal to pay in WhateverCoin three years from now when they’re finally able to sign up on porn websites without asking to use their mom’s credit card.

In regards to the “marketing team” … I’ve been promoting (and donating FTC to) Link since day 1. So, please forgive me if I take offense to the, “poor form” comments and others insinuating no one is promoting Link or Link’s use with Feathercoin. And btw, YOU and the rest of us are the Feathercoin marketing team … not “Chris”. Chris does what he does on his own (like you and I can) because that’s what Chris wants to do. No one assigned Chris a job and said, “you must promote Feathercoin and every idea that pops up on the forum”, Chris just does it because he believes in Feathercoin (like you, I assume).
So, be more like Chris and just go promote Feathercoin if you think it’s lacking promotion. [b]I do it daily, do you?[/b] It’s easy to complain about a perceived lack, it’s a unique individual that can take it upon themselves to do something about it (see Chris, Kevlar, zerodrama, nutnut, Bush and a lot of others on this forum).

I came to this community, because it was about coins and people. And feathers represented low anxiety, high participation, much like dogecoin. Although right now, poor cats. I help any coin. You know why? Because no matter what coins you support, YOU ARE STILL USING THE SAME INTERNET. So when you make your account in one place and rally for that coin and then you rally for the next coin and the next, you are rallying against yourself, if you are in it for PROMOTION. That’s INSANE.
I promote cryptocoins and communities. That’s where the action and the value is. Not in the brand name. This isn’t 2004 when Facebook was created. This is 2014. Facebook is obsolete, only parents want to use it. LOL.
You’re complaining that your coins aren’t going up in value, because this was an opportunity to get a jump in the market and no one took it. Guess what? We don’t want JUST ONE COIN TO BE FIRST. It’s NOT a SUSTAINABLE option. In the future, Feathercoin might have other nice features. AND THOSE WILL BE SHARED AS WELL. QUICKLY. Because check the news lately? Bitcoin went up because China, went down because China, will dance on tables because China. We are safer if we have technologies that give us value across the board, not coins that hold onto value in one VULNERABLE place. How many people made money when Bitcoin went up? How many lost money when it went down?
Don’t get attached to the coin. Get busy with the features and the technology. Sorry, if that’s not what you learned in business school. The real world moves too slow for people’s needs and the online world moves too fast for the real world. Deal with it. Adapt.
So, I will be releasing Link modules to ALL coins. I may use Kevlar’s voting idea. Or I may use another.
