I meant we need a separate design project for the “Smart phone web site”. Perhaps even the “3rd world facilities web site”
These are the “Main pages” for those slightly different requirements.
As we are trying to be international, perhaps some Other Languages -> Can run Separate front pages?
eg Non English - front page to “official volunteers” like lizhi could do Chinese and could officially link direct to the main site.
I think we need a hard ware fund, to make sure some basic web API services are distributed. This could facilitate and speed up implementation in non EU / USA countries.

This is where change control and testing would come in.
The “Your Ideas for Feathercoin” menu buttons were not updated / re replicated correctly when new tools were added to the main forum.

I’ve rented a “Digital Ocean” cloud host site ($10 month). My son wants to set up a p2pool.
Its in Amsterdam, I have one droplet but could install another in which"test Feathercoin web sites" could be deployed.
For testing / appreciation of the potential new web site designs to members? Possible no holds barred weekend hack fest etc…

[/quote]I know I ruffle a lot of feathers when I do this … but I don’t care, come after me.
I like the new wording, however it does not rid Feathercoin from experiencing the obvious inevitable comment, “[i][b]Yeah, but ACP[/b][/i]”.
So, to me throwing the above line around as FTC’s cornerstone is not going to go over well for teh haters (and there are a plenty), which I know is not your target audience, but it will get back to your target audience via teh haters in time and then FTC’s possibly lost the trust of said target audience.
It’s slightly disingenuous IMHO, until ACP is gone.

At the current time forum post are bumped straight to the top of the thread when they are viewed.
I invented / applied a system, in which for this case,
[b]Each forum post view, would raise the post one in the list. This system would automatically keep popular post high in the list.[/b]
New posts still start at the top. Less useful posts, or short term News Items would drop down the list.
I propose applying this technique to solve a known cause of failure, discriminating useful posts in a large forum. As it is by a self aligning method it applies no additional strain on moderators or members.

[/quote]Does Bush or any person or small group have the ability to control the network in any way? Does ACP have any more features than the control of depth or the off button?
Centralisation is not absolute, it’s a continuum. It’s also not a moral issue, the actions of individuals is. An environment that has centralised aspects will over time afford bad behaviour on average but does not necessarily do so. Right now all cryptos are “centralised” sociologically speaking, how was the fork in Bitcoin averted in March? The pool operators have one another’s phone numbers.
The point is that the distributed network is our goal at the end of this never ending journey we are all on unlike the Banks whose sole aim to control. But we will never reach our goal if we are not prepared to make the hard choices on the way.
Just my opinion, thought I appreciate the concern. Does anyone have a perspective on this?

Also, if you want to get meta perspective, ACP is only centralised on a consensus of the past, when someone tries to re-write it.
At the time the transactions happened it was a decentralised consensus.
At no time was ACP a requested feature, it was only ever implemented as the minimum of 2 evils, the other being attacked to the detriment of loyal miners. I sat there in the attack watching my coins get unconfirmed and disappear from the wallet, so perhaps have a different perspective…

The Digital Ocean cloud hosting is more for apps like p2pool than wordpress.
Normal Web hosting which have cPanel and wordpress installed already would be better for beta testing new web site templates…
Digital Ocean - has server virtual machines you can run, for instance - Listen to Feathercoins? or other blockchain related services.
