Cloud Computing Windows 7 or Beyond
-
Okay, so I’m trying to get a tradebot to operate as it’s supposed to, 24/7, but anyone that knows me knows I live like a vagabond and get INTERNETS wherever I can. My mining rig is in a coffee shop that keeps it in their back room, but I don’t want to push my luck by giving them another machine to look after.
So I was looking into something cloud related. I tried Digital Ocean, but I need Windows and tried both running WINE (failure) and running a Windows virtualization in it (kept running into issues, wouldn’t install win 7 right within the software). I tried Windows Azure today and their interface so badly ^#$%ed everything up it automatically pushed me to PAYG from the free trial over and I’m not about to ask to borrow a different credit card from my boss.
So, I’ve been googling around and haven’t been coming up with anything. Any suggestions? Pay with crypto would be preferable but I’ll take what I can get.

I can host Windows Server 2008 Standard, Windows Server 2008 Web & Windows Server 2012 VPS’s with my provider if it helps. Not cheap though :( with Windows 2012 its works out around £23 ( 130FTC ) per month for a Single Core, 50GB HDD and 1GB of RAM - that’s cost price.
You could try looking around on webhostingforums for any deals.

[/quote]Yeah, that seems to be the going rate. I’m just going to kill minerd and try to push it over on my mining rig again.
