Nothing has changed yet. The source is out and the race is on.

You are completely correct as far as I think. But it does seem each coin having it’s own algorithm solves the high hash coin swappers problem for the altcoins, it doesn’t solve the 51% pools tho’ for Bitcoin.

The more specialized the algorithm, the less the average user understands it. Also the more holes and fewer eyes to patch them.

What we need is to begin promoting the services and activities we care about.

              The technological changes are band-aids.

We still have time. If all goes well, the pr will get someone on board soon. otherwise, we will get a bounty together and hire someone if we have to.

I hear John’s available … oh wait, no one can reach him after he setup an IPO (then allegedly vanished), P&D’d NXT and got “hacked” (allegedly) and “someone” ran off with 72 BTC or so.

                        ;)

If only someone had warned them. Oh wait, someone did … many times prior to all of this going down. :-

We are going off topic. But he’s still not surfaced since the incident and everyone is cool with that?

Oddly enough, that appears to be the case. NXT forum hates me for bringing up his scams beforehand, yet love John for scamming them. Weird.

Now back to your regularly scheduled topic, sorry for derailing it.

Based on Ghostlanders phoneixcoin p2pool and the scrypt based p2pool I mananged to get a neoscrypt p2pool working.

                                        it can be found here:

                                        https://github.com/wellenreiter01/p2pool-neoscrypt

                                        and cloned with

                                        git clone https://github.com/wellenreiter01/p2pool-neoscrypt.git

                                        Please use and test it.

Add your test results, comments, remarks here:

From that repo and the recent commits it looks like your still using the ltc_scrypt module? and the one in the repo is the normal scrypt one?
