It’s not worth 25BTC, that’s just extortion. Also the machine prints out a receipt and the customer has to scan that so it’s sub optimal. I know the guys who make XBTerminal which is a much better offering.

Yes of course but we want to be as integrated as possible if the idea is to be available to as many merchants as possible. What I like about Featherpay is that it’s being built from the ground up, hacker style and doesn’t have all this big money attached with bottom lines and exit strategies.

Not if it costs 25BTC. It’s not that hard to make a POS and to be honest I am not in favour of all these landgrabs and people clambering to own the pipes. “If you don’t pay the gatekeeper you don’t get to exist.” But one of the things we have seen in this industry is just how quickly technology becomes commoditised and cheaply available to everyone. Something that was hard and expensive 12 months ago is trivial and cheap today. So it’s not really worth putting the money in.
