I’d just about be in the top 1000 if I hadn’t split my (mining) addresses.I’d also be a lot higher if I’d bought the coins instead of mining them!

I am actually quite surprised and impressed that this shows Feathercoin has a wide level of support / investment.

I don’t think it is a good idea if coin development is just driven by metrics, but if it encourages investors it could be good. Especially as the ingredients for wider use are nearly there.

I am much happier about (pointing out an investment potential) when there is real information to show which are the simple pump and dump schemes and which coins are trying to make a secure alternate currencies workable.

                  His percent of coins is 35.08% , richest-feathercoin-addresses is 7M3DZ8rhBHj3ZZrvyAgvHVQr5vAkPCpg9J .

Because our prices low, such a situation is to be expected. 100K FTC will join TOP50.

There are lots of coins in the exchanges, so it is not necessarily the correct top 100 list. Also, some exchanges are also in the list. However, it is a glimpse of coin distribution and investor holding.

Bumping this just to see how things have changed. ~$200 will get you in the top 100 today with about 94k FTC. $10k will get you to number 3.

great op for anyone wanting to be in top 100 :)

I started my more resent buy ins at 1700 sats thinkin that was close to bottom (and well someone had put a few largish sells at that time I though an easy grab), now been buying last 12hrs at 890s :( (wow that is low :o ), everytime i put an order of a few thousand at top of cryptsy list it gets nibbled away in a ton of small sells…so makes me wonder where the bottom is going to be.

personally though I don’t believe in owning anymore then a few percent of any crypto, kinda defeats the purpose as cryptos need to be spread :)

Agreed. If you want to be a savvy buyer leave a buy just under the current low meaning you will get your coins on the next downtrend rather than trying to buy at a higher price and getting nibbled by arbitrage bots.
