Whats going on atm something needs to be fixed had 6 confirmations on me transaction now its back at 2. Some how I detect a 51% going on somewhere.

[/quote]The attackers were orphaning legit blocks. The attack seem to be over for now, though. Will be clear over the next hour.
We need more bloody hashes. Retarget should happen within a day. If the price holds then we can expect a big bump.

I’m not so sure Magic… give-me-ftc still has a bunch of new miners out of the blue with tons of hash power (excluding Nutnut obviously who we know to be good). I wish I could say they are good miners too but it’s a little odd with them showing up just today and issues occur.
BTW if I’m falsely calling anyone out, my apologies. I hope you all are real miners and would certainly welcome you!

[/quote]Well with the price booming and if their in it for the profit then a lot more will come over happened on LTC,TRC,PPC seems like FTC now having a hit on it too as people seeing it more and more and more so called profit miners want a slice of the action while its high to pump and dump

[/quote]I’m happy how remarkably steady we’ve been on price all day. We’re facing new challenges, thankfully we have a good infrastructure to figure out how to resolve it. Obviously changes in the next version of the coin are needed to help combat.

[/quote]Yeah definitely. I’m sure there are legit miners on there and very happy to see them. Unfortunately someone can’t deal with it and is determined to run them off.

D2 pool. the pool operator is doing his best to resolve the issue (as I’m sure all pool operators are). I guess we just have to sit tight for the moment. -
A lot of transactions suddenly went to unconfirmed. Hope I won’t lose those FTCs.

I think the 51% attack is still going on. My pool (fcpool.com) generates nothing but Orphans. I lost a whole day’s worth of mining! I’m switching to another coin…

All the blocks timed at 18:XX are generated by the attacker. Every so often they orphan genuine blocks and they seem to be trying to orphan them all. This is an attack on all the pools as any blocks found by a pool will be orphaned.
Pools should disable PPS if they are running it and move to RBPPS or something similar.
This seems to be a reaction to the large investments we saw in the Feathercoin markets yesterday. Last time we suffered from these attacks it also coincided with the price rising.
