      Hello,

I am fairly new to mining but did my research before starting. I started on a spare laptop I have at work and I am up and mining at coinotron. Everything seems to be working but my numbers seem to be high. I am using GUIminer and it is indicating 17.8MHash/s, as I understand it this is 17800kH/s. That does not seem right for my setup and would like to see if I did something wrong. I have included detailed setup info below and a screenshot.

      ***Update****

I think this is because I am using a version of GUI miner without scrypt. I am working on getting one working now and will update with new information. I am working on finding a miner that my PC wil lnot see as a virus, so far cgminer 3.7.7b gives me an error 61 when using the recommended start parameters :

      (cgminer --neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3337 -u workername -p password )

      Thank you!

GPU (including manufacture): nVidia NVS 5200m
      Mining program(s): GUIMiner
      Mining Pool: coinomatic
      GPU Processor Clock: 1250

      GPU Graphics Clock: 625
      GPU Memory Clock: unknown
      Thread Concurrency: unknown
      Average KH/s: 17.8MHash/s
The rest of your miner settings: using 8 CPU threads and GPU
Any thing else you deem important: i7-3740qm CPU
The nature of your problem: to high hash rate?
Are you getting HW(hardware) errors when mining: no

Most virus scanners see miners as malware. Adding them allows the company to advertise they catch more malware than the other AV companies - when really, their products are fairly useless at all, so it’s kind of funny…

To my information ChekaZ released a Neoscrypt version.

                  Thank You Everyone,

I am up and mining with the proper GUI miner for the GPU and CPU Miner (mindeD) for the CPU.

I get ~17 kh/s on the GPU and ~22kh/s with the CPU.

My only question, I get “Stratum requested work restart” about 5 times for every “accepted” I get.

What does “Stratum requested work restart” mean, and what can I do to reduce it?
