In the first picture, which is looking north, across the bay, the mountain/hill on the hard right, is “Cape Tribulation”

The last picture is about 1/5th of the way up the south side of Cape Tribulation looking south

Aside the Cassowary and giant moth photo’s, all pictures were taken with 1 hour apart from each other. We went for a casual walk up the beach and the weather turned on us, but then began to clear on the way home.

Snakes? Not one to be honest.

And yeah, location is Cape Trib. Epic little bungalow shacks about 50m from the beach. - http://www.pksjunglevillage.com.au/

Decent prices considering the quality… plus there’s a bar. But no phone reception. Or internet… Unless of course you get a kayak or boat and go about 50m out in the water. Or climb cape trib… Kinda why we went on our journey… this was about 24 hours before neo fork.

Saw plenty of mudcrabs, miniscule ones. Heard insects and birds galore, saw hermit crabs on the rocks, umm. didnt see much else. OH, something that looked like a Racehorse Goanna walked through PK’s. Looked like a mini komodo dragon almost. didn’t get a photo :/

I love those little tiny crabs you get up there when the tide goes out, thousands of them.

Yes its good to have a technology detox every once in a while

Wow looks amazing. Anywhere near where they are filming “I’m a celebrity get me out of here”

Also do they show that show in Australia? As its mostly British semi famous peeps.

I keep my tv unplugged. With the amount of crap and utter nonsense on TV, it litterally makes me feel stupid and brain dead if I watch it for more than 20mins… Especialy TV ads. Or “Donate otherwise you are killing the planet/children” ads… And also, the frikin Life insurance ads targeted at old people to make them feel less secure about staying alive…

In fact, aside from recently when the folks came up and dad wanted the news, I hadn’t hooked in a tv for about 5 years.

So I have no idea what that show is :)
