      Hello

I was mined in one pool for a week.
in the pool site i was see account balance and it was growing.
At one point balance growing was stopped for about two days, but my sgminer was connected and my shares were accepted all the time.
With other peoples who was mined this situation was to.
I reported in support but they say that no blocks (or not much) were found.
I was surprised. I checked out pool wallet address (by the block numbers) and detect many blocks at that time.
I reported in support again. This time they said that the wallet is corrupted. I was very surprised because the wallet address has outgoing transaction. Then they change pool wallet address.

I have a question to the official community. Is this can be or they cheat me and other miners? In additional i can post all information about pool name and wallet address if you ask.
      Thank you.

Hi seems like your having some issues with your mining pool. I’m moving this to the support section as its more appropriate there.

OK could you provide more details such as which pool you were using.

We are not officialy affiliated with any of the mining pools although one of our team runs the nutnut pool. But I doubt you have had any issues with that pool.

Also before we start it may be true that your particular pool did not find many/any blocks for a couple of days if it is quite a small pool. This should not affect your profits long term as when a small pool finds a block you get a larger share of the block compared to larger pools where you will get a smaller share of more blocks.

            Hi Dialex.

Think you are talking about wemineftc.

I had the same problem and also posted in this thread https://www.weminecryptos.com/forum/topic/3346-my-stats-dont-update/page-2

Don’t know enough about the technical stuff to call foul but it just didn’t feel right, so I stopped mining there yesterday and cashed out.

Same happened to me on WeMineFTC a few days ago, if this were nutnut’s pools he would have fixed it and distribute the coins.

Really does smell fishy. At least you were not mining at 10+MH/s and lost 2 days…so pissed.

Yeah, I only lost 35-40 FTC but it still felt like a kick in nuts :(

Hahahah, yeah I lost around 1700 or more.

                Thank you for response.

                Yes, this pool is WeMineFTC.

I saw this thread too https://www.weminecryptos.com/forum/topic/3346-my-stats-dont-update/page-2
I lost not much. But it’s not about money. It is about respect to miners and honor of the pool owners.
                There are some technical info:
This is my account transaction page.

                image.jpg

(If you don’t see it i can reload picture to more convinient host)

We can see transactions for blocks and block numbers. The yellow rectangle shows the gap time. The red rectangle shows the gap in mined blocks and payments. By the blocks numbers we can find our pool wallet. Take any block. Let it be the block 487635.
                https://bitinfocharts.com/feathercoin/block/487635
In this link there is pool wallet address in “Newly Generated” section. By clicking on address we can see transations of this address.
At first there are many mined blocks (exactly 180) between 487635 to 489730.
At second outgoing transactions is still occur. Therefore the wallet is not corrupted contrary to what the support says.
Let’s not forget that we were misled about the amount of mined blocks at that time from support.

In conclusion i think we were deceived. What do you think?

It’s a difficult situation and obviously something has occurred which has upset many miners. But what is not obvious is malicious intent.

I think the best thing to do in this situation if you are unhappy is to move to a different mining pool and also if you prefer raise the issue with the support part of the site. (Again if this has already happened.)

It is a shame when things like this happen but nothing is infallible (neither software or humans)

Thankyou for raising this issue to share your experience with others.

There are many ways how pool operators can screw up their miners and take advantage of this. Use P2Pool for your peace of mind. It’s distributed and no one controls it.
