Who is buying?

@kelsey said in Who is buying?:
i get the sense alot of people are simply waiting around for a pump :telescope:
however i think more could be done by the community to promote ftc.
the devs are doing their thing, and have been consistent it keeping ftc alive and well, maybe tis time for the rest of the community to step up to the plate :baseball:
lets as a community try and create something of value rather then some price and price will take care of itself.
its more then possible for some random group to pump ftc and make a few here happy with the price…well for the short term.lets try and give it more value so the next uptrend isn’t simply some short lived pump.
Step 1 i think is organizing a good place to chat as a community/team. Discord/Slack or similar.

I’m going slightly off topic here

Agreed, it does seem this way, esp since Mirax on Bitcointalk is predicting another FTC pump…similar to last year.

Agreed! Every little helps!

Personally I feel once we get an iOS , and updated Android wallet out we can on-board more users. merchant adoption is another ball game entirely.
With countries like India and Venezuela waking up to crypto-currencies in a big way, we need to be able to make sure Feathercoins are easily accessible and easily usable.

Haha indeed! BTC rising tide finnaly, and FTC long undervalued. Keep mining, keep buying and most importantly, lets organize :)

Good to hear :D
@aciddude : we have a -still- working Android wallet, but that needs an update to the latest code urgendly.
So if any Java/Android coder is around…
Any help is welcome here.
(sorry, totally off topic)

excellent to see some community feedback for a positive way forward :) think yeah we’ll start another thread about the ways we all can contribute, put forward ideas etc
but its great to see many community members here for more then just a mindless pump.

One of the things i am wondering to see is, will the market cap reach 10mil again?

much more than 10M

again i think we should be indifferent to such things,
work at making ftc a strong coin (which devs have done an excellent job already network stability wise), strong community, and real world usefullness, and marketcap will take care of itself.
certainly no point in its being pumped to a high marketcap then returning later to where it is today, thats simply win lose economics. when we could easily make ftc a win win economic model.

A mayor market cap will bring ftc investors/holders to start working better in his ftc proyects and achieve that economic model!

@kelsey
Check my other forum posts about promotion and adoption ideas.TA is one of my kinks, and guesstimating stuff is one of them ;)

Lol, bitcoin jumped out of the window. Is it funny or sad to see how people are panicking?

yes indeed, i’m not against the marketcap going up, i think ftc deserves to be much much higher. and yes the project will get way more noticed if its revalued at what it should be, which imo even at this point, should be 20k sats +
more work and as a community we could get in value into the top 10.

about ten days ago, I say buy. Who bought ?
-
@lizhi reporting in
Hope > 3m marketcap though -
@lizhi - bought already some days/weeks ago ;-) Thx for the hint
-
@lizhi I’m a little miner but I bought every day from my miner’s income in the last 7 months. The uptrend was necessary sooner or later. What is Your opinion about target price?;)
-
@SimonTower
Foer easier guessing, use the following:Price = marketcap/total coins
Also, see the volume, bid-ask ratio, total bid-ask balance to define volatility and trend, top ftc wallet movements (bittrex is a cool place for these, as well as ftc rich wallet list)
I am leaving further technical analysis out of this because the price movements are not characterised by organic price action in this case, so systemic approach is invalid (sort of). -
someone (or ones) certainly likes their history, charts starting to replicate this time last year…hmmm
