[Solved] to devs: 0.9.3.1 checkpoint problem
-
hi, I got this error in walet 0.9.3.1 today:
WARNING: Inconsistent checkpoint found! Stop enforcing checkpoints and notify developers to resolve the issue.what does it mean and why this happens? Can I use this version or should I have to wait for fix from devs? There is nothing about latest stable version on the official FTC website. What ver should users use?

I check what you said , 0.9.3.3 is OK .

The message ‘invalid checkpoint found’ means, that your wallet currently is on a side chain, than didn’t make it to become the main chain. If the message continues to pop up and the synchronisation stops at a given block, you need to backup your wallet, delete the block database and start the synchronization fron scratch, using the latest release version for your operating system, but normally the message disappears as soon as your wallet switches to the longest chain.
The current releases are written at the top of the main forum page. -
I don’t see a problem with v0.8.7.3 either.

As written on the forum main page 0.8.7.3 and 0.9.3.1 are the current releases and should work without problems. :D

ok thanks for the explanation, this message disappeared yesterday. I will rather run 0.9.3.1 because it works fine for me.
