[newbie intro]

Hello all! I’m fairly new to the cypto mining and found that is so fascinating! I got myself a gaming computer which I now use for mining ethereum. But recently I read that whattomine suggests the most profitable coins to mine with my current setup and it suggested that I mine feathercoin. I’m fairly new to mining itself so I don’t know what settings I should be using.
I’ve searched through lots of websites suggesting the best OC settings but none of which are for mining feathercoin. Could I ask you guys for some help about this?

Hi there, the pools usually give some info.

[Neowebwallet] : The transactions are collected in blocks, which are found approximately every ten minutes in a random process called mining. As transactions transfer ownership of Bitcoin balances, each of these blocks represents an update of the user’s balances on the network.

Small correction: Feathercoin blocks are mined every minute, not every ten minutes ;)

thank you all for your response!
the pool does post settings to be used in ccminer and other applicable miners.
however, I am looking for overclocking guides and settings to maximize the capabilities of the GPU in mining cryptocurrency. for Ethereum, there are lots of overclocking guides. for Feathercoin, I haven’t found any. Or is it that overclocking does not affect the mining hashrate for feathercoin as it does with ethereum?

@sarslemagne did you find an optimal over lock? I found that neoscrypt responds well to a mixed overclock, mainly memory clock though, compared to EThash. Worth experimenting yourself though!
