Mac Wallet - Newbie

Newbie - does anyone have a mac wallet install tutorial pls. Having a hard time sync to network.

welcome to the community :DIf your wallet gui opens, and doesn’t crash, your problem is not MAC specific.
The 0.9.6.1 version as well as older versions are known to take a long time to sync.
What may help:
in the gui:
- go to settings-> debug window-> console
in the command line type 'addnode <ip address> add
Replace ‘<ip address>’ with the ip address of a known working node.
Add about 1 -3 nodes that way
You can use ip addresses from pools or exchanges.
This helps the wallet to connect to the network.If the sync process stops after some time restart the wallet. This has been reported to help.
Besides that, we released wallet version 0.9.6.2 today, which has a remarkable improvement for the sync process.
pre-compiled binaries and installation packages will be available within the next days. - go to settings-> debug window-> console

I’m not sure why you need a tutorial to install, unless you mean you want to build from source ?
