Hi and some help :D
-
nsgminer --neoscrypt -g 1 -w 128 -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://172.93.52.247:19327 -O 71aExJUe9hRSYQczg1pcYgyuB9vecmDrSn:Stuff
I have just been trying different ones to get it to go. No pools show my receive hash though.
-
Hi, How long have you left your miner pointed at the pool before you checked ?
-
About 6 hours now since I just changed it to this new pool.
-
Hi Invento,
Welcome to the mining adventures
I cant seem to find your address on the pool page, are you sure you are mining?
Maybe as well, the last part of the command file might not be helping ‘:Stuff’ ; please try removing it… there should be 34 characters as your address… and place ‘-p x’ at end
-
@CryptoHaga , the user is using the -O switch which “should” allow for WORKERNAME:WORKERPASS
but maybe the mining pool expects -u -p
can you please try this
nsgminer --neoscrypt -g 1 -w 128 -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://172.93.52.247:19327 -u 71aExJUe9hRSYQczg1pcYgyuB9vecmDrSn -p x

@acidd whats weird is it shows that it is hashing, but just doesn’t show up on their site as an active user. Trying it now.

That was going to be my next question ;-)
does it show that your shares are being accepted ?
-
@acidd Yea it does. That is what is weird.
-
On that specific pool there is an option to “set miners”
I believe you have to add your FTC address there if you want to be displayed
-
How would I do that? :D

If you go here in a browser
http://172.93.52.247:19327/static/you can see a little gear icon in the corner, click it and click “set my miners”
and then mine against the pool for a while and see if you show up there.
I’m not 100% sure if this is the issue but it’s a good test.
-
@Invento - Also how did you generate that FTC address ? …which client etc.
-
@acidd Yea, still doesn’t show up.
I setup the receive hash with the feathercoin core 0.9.6.2 64bit wallet by going to receive, request a payment and then copied the hash. Is that how I do it?

Yah that’s fine.
did you download the latest NSgminer ? 0.9.3 ? and Are you on AMD or Nvidia ?
-
I did. I am on AMD.

Hmm, then I’d say try against a pool like give-me-coins and see if you get a payout, just to confirm it’s all working.
