Blockchain sync not working, tried everything I think
-
I’ve done the adding nodes, shrinkdebug, max orphans etc, is everyone else having this issue?
I have restarted ‘core’ in admin mode at least 40 times in the last couple of days. It is very discerning that it can’t figure the orphan block errors out on its own.
I’m on Win10x64, FX 8320 and single RX480 for now.
The last of the log file reads this:

Hi, which version are you running?
-
The newest version from what I can find, Feathercoin Core version v0.9.6.2-standard (64-bit), I let it run overnight again and I think it got a ‘few’ more weeks. I’m down to 1y 45 weeks now.
-
unfortunately @deflumte you just have to let it sit there. For windows I am able to get a full sync over night on a decent machine. MacOS and Linux seems to perform the sync a bit better.
-
It has ran overnight for about 3 or 4 days, not constantly getting blocks during the day. It does seem like those settings are working now, the additional peers and the shrinkdebug/maxorphans as well. This is taking quite a bit longer (10x?) than any other blockchain update/downloads. Currently at 1y 26wk!
