Hello every1 from Turkey I am new to all of this as you can see :) I have been reasearching about the Sync of Wallet problem for a long time mine is stuck at the Half.Today I was checking the debug log i have encountered these lines and its keep going. I have checked the firewall , antivirus protection and also i have tried everyhing that forum suggests adding new nodes , -maxorphantx=5000 -maxblockorphans=12000 -dbcache=4096 -rescan etc… If can help me to solve this sync problem . i will be appreciated.

Hello @Anema,

first of all welcome to the forum.

The problem you observer is known already and will be fixed in the next release of the wallet.

As a workaround shutdown the wallet and start it again. Most of time it passes the block where it has stuck before.

The problem is caused by longer chains of orphan blocks, which are a result of attacks the Feathercoin blockchain experienced some years ago.

Fyi guys It still stuck at the middle didnt increase a bit. According to debuglog It is like this ;

and once it reach ORPHAN BLOCK 7501 it stuck again :)

well the ‘orphan block’ is a counter with a max size of 7500 ;)
After it reaches the maximum, if deletes additional blocks and requests them again later.

Well, the last block hash you mention in your debug log was mined 2016-09-22 11:44:18, so it’s just a bit more than one year to go ;)

Simply be patient and stop/start your wallet from time to time.
