Devs, what is your opinion about listing ftc on the newer exchanges that are popping up?
(the ones not looking like a complete scam of course)

Well, getting a coin listed on an exchange is a relatively straight forward process, what doesn’t mean that it’s a fast process.

Typically the way to go is to send tickets to the exchange’s owner/operator and request the listing of a coin. If many requests for a coin are coming in, the exchange owners see the demand and a chance of a good trading volume and then they list the coin.

So Gentlemen, select one or more exchanges and if all of you request Feathercoin to be listed, there is a chance you’ll get the owners convinced.

It’s an easy way to support Feathercoin, and no coding knowledge is needed ;)

getting an active user base to move from bittrex will be hard. i recently sold some for the first time in ages and i put the same order to sell up on bittrex as i did with cryptopia. bittrex filled (and it was 19 times bigger) cryptopia didnt =/ . but not taking on new people is… well rough. sounds like someone needs to make a new exchange that is as dummy proof as they can make it. and make it appealing enough to get people to leave their current exchange (oh and carry feathercoin)

Cryptopia not accepting new users? I signed up two days ago and seems to be fine. I even listed an item on their marketplace just to see how it worked. Of course no sale yet, but I can safely say I am a new user within the time period that they’re apparently closed to new users.

If you have a look at the markets tab @ coinmarketcap you can see where the most volume is being traded from in the past 24 hours.

When I checked, Bittrex did 70% of the trade volume, with Upbit (Korean - so may be killed off depending on what the government decides to do??) in second at 20%…

I’m sorry I don’t know what to suggest right now but I can share some thoughts. The price or value of the Feathercoin has been falling constantly. It’s less than a dollar now. After seeing it at #235 in coinmarketcap, I think Feathercoin’s future is pretty dark.

@jonathonas It’s always been under $1. If you look at the charts you will see it has been gradually increasing. The drop has only been because BTC has sunk 40%
