Feathercoin does not provide specific miners. The community maintains the protocol, network and a standard wallet, all other software is generic for most mining. There are different settings for different coins, of course.

I’m alternating between LTC and FTC at about 200Kh/s, so nothing exciting. But a 7950 (or whatever it is, it’s 5am here!) should come this week with some other parts to set up a faster machine in the spare room. Then I can fit another card if it still looks profitable.

I’m considering selling half of what I generate each month or so to pay the VISA bill, leaving the rest to see what happens. But I change my mind every day! Not looking forward to seeing the revised monthly electricity statements in a few months.

If you wouldn’t mind telling me what the price is going to be next year it would be helpful. ;)

Is there even a question? MI2 was by far and away the most creative, laughter filled one of the entire series. And don’t get me wrong, Telltale games did a great job with the reboot, but nothing will ever replace the hilarity of having to guess every single color, and having Herman Toothrot go, “Nope. Currently like everywhere in the world there is a big boom in crypto…:) All mining Radeon cards are totally sold out and the cryptocurrencies are widely discussed amongst people. I also spread the information as much as I can. Because the interest into currency makes it’s value…:)

Not exactly open source, is it? I mean there’s no source, or even a specification for how this will work. For instance, p2p is about sharing information freely, but it’s very difficult to incentivise people to store and broadcast other people’s encrypted data. Encrypted email works GREAT for this purpose, and storing people’s medical information on stranger’s hard drives/networks isn’t exactly the best way to make it ‘secure’, not to mention there’s already a shit-ton of laws in places against cloud-computing with regards to medical storage. No hospital in the world would use a technology like this.

Perhaps you could offer us some more details on this project, like how you plan on getting around all the privacy laws that state that all records must be stored securely on a server under their control and not shared with the outside world on a p2p network?
