I’ve been curious about the potential of non-BTC cryptocurrencies like Feathercoin. What’s their niche? I don’t think there’s an answer yet, but maybe there is!

There are so many cool open source projects, many of which have yet to be modified for feathercoin.

You might want to look at some of the Bitcoin services that have been developed that feathercoin might require. That’s apart from the obvious work on the basic daemon, wallet or mining.

It’s difficult, or impossible, to predict exactly how things will take off. So being flexible is an advantage. On the forum we have been concentrating on the basic open source infrastructure and publicity, there are an infinite number of potential related services.
