The most important thing is, to have a copy of your private keys, when deleting wallet.dat.
you then can import the private keys into any other wallet and recover your coins.

to export/import the private keys go to Debug>consolwindow and type exportprivkey
copy/paste the key to a safe location.

for import use importprivkey…

there is a help in console mode

Also, if sync get’s stuck for a longer time, I’d say 10 minutes, simply restart feather coin.

Im really sorry about this I hope you didn’t loose too much. I would recommended that no one leaves there coins anywhere but there own encrypted backed up wallet this includes exchanges. I do keep some and people are bound to but this is at your own risk.

Have you tried running linux instead from a pen drive. It gets rid of the Mac problem.

I would recommend disconnect your HHD insert pen with a Live Linux image created using unetbootin I use either Ubuntu or Linux Mint . then insert another pen (the one which will be the new HDD) and click install on the screen. It should pick up the second pen as a hard drive and install as usual.

This also means u can simply unplug the pen and connect HDD and everything goes back to normal.

I’m in a similar position I would tend to agree with your choice ebuyer have some 7950 s for about £200. When I first started I bough a few very cheap 6670 and I now wish I hadn’t so don’t fall into that trap.
