[/quote]That is a major point against splitting the deployment between 2 locations.
I’m not experienced enough in the actual deployment of this stuff, but it just seemed to me that this option at least halves the technical challenge of powering and cooling 39 co-located GPUs.
If it causes more problems that it solves, then its not worth the bother.

Hi, it sounds like a good idea. About the security issue: wouln’t it help if you distribute the coins every day to your clients ? It should minimalize the safety risk if you reduce the amount on your account . Despite it will take more work for you it can help to get the confidence of customers.

Take a look at one of my other posts where i’m comparing pools regarding efficiency…
You might consider running your own pool, either centralized or p2pooled.
I even think (positive critics on) that when offering this a a commercial service you ‘should’ run your own pool to prevent downtimes, fees etc.
Sure its an extra ‘job’ but you want to go commercial right ?
Did you think about the downtime of your Internet connection ?
If I were to ‘rent’ your service i would like to have some guarantee on availability.
One option might be to setup/rent a load balancer on an Internet Exchange and have it redirected to your ‘home’ connection.
Easier to deal with DDOS, temporary moving to another location, splitting up etc etc.
You aim to become a major key player in renting out this service, did you think about the next step, where to move when you’re adding another 100+ GPU’s ?Dont take me wrong, i really like the idea but its very easy to crash and burn with this stuff…

I have a solution to all these problems! I did some digging and I found out that I could rent a storage unit for about 10 euro a week and electricity is free. I will have 24 hour access with a unique key card and each storage unit is also monitored 24/7 by CCTV. If one storage unit gets too hot will all rigs inside I will just rent another :) and MrSheep has messaged me saying he will help me set up a p2pool so that’s another problem solved…
So I’m expecting the motherboards to arrive first thing in the morning! I can’t wait! I will post an update on the website blog when they arrive :D
And sorry if I’ve been taking too long to respond to your messages, I’ve been swamped with messages and work the last couple of days but I should be able to get back to everyone at some stage :)

[/quote]I’m sure you can find storage units in spain somewhere :) I was looking at renting an office or server room but I was getting prices from 600-1000 euro a month which is just not affordable with these kinds of operations! especially here in Ireland ::)

[/quote]Im guessing 10A circuit max and 1,5mm^2 wiring. so you’ll need a couple of those storage spaces, or have you checked this?
Also im guessing that the power won’t stay free for long, guess on the first electric bill the storage unit owner get ;D -

You can start a cloud mining server here in Romania , we have great internet speeds and ping time , the electricity cost is very low , like 1 dollar / 10 KWh , and rents are low too , a 2 room flat (apartment) costs like 250 euros per month :P If I could afford a mining rig I would virtually be a billionaire here :P -

Here , in Bucharest , the capital city , we have rents ranging from 200 to 350 euros for a two room flat , in other cities it may be even cheaper . The prices are so low because we earn like 350-400 euros per month from a good job , like working in a bank institution :| , there are other jobs that pays as low as 150-200 euros per month , being a teacher is one of that jobs :( -

Hey guys! been really busy! We got confirmation that the gpu’s have been shipped, and should be arriving on the 20th of January, a little delay but we should have everything up by the 22nd, sorry about the delay… I’ve been trying to sort out the storage units and have started moving things in! We have ordered another 39 Asus Radeon R9290 graphic’s cards! hopefully we will have the next batch of rigs up and running by the 15th of February. Also the first order of graphics cards should be here any day now! :D
